1. Who we are
MyWordHub is the word-tool and word-game website available at https://mywordhub.com. It is operated by Terik Caan. For UK and European data protection purposes, Terik Caan is the controller for the processing described in this policy.
2. The short version
- You can use MyWordHub without creating an account.
- Letters, words and patterns entered into our tools are processed in your browser, not sent to a MyWordHub server.
- Games can save progress and preferences locally on your device.
- Google advertising helps keep the site free, and aggregate analytics helps us understand performance and improve the site.
- Where required, advertising and analytics cookies depend on your consent choices.
3. What we do not collect
MyWordHub does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, postal address, phone number, payment details, passwords, contacts, photos, calendar information or precise GPS location. We do not process payments and do not sell personal information for money.
4. Information you enter into tools
The letters, words and patterns you enter into MyWordHub solvers are processed by code running in your browser to produce results on your device. They are not sent to a MyWordHub server and are not stored by MyWordHub.
5. Game progress stored on your device
MyWordHub games can use local browser storage after you play or make a choice. Depending on the game and your actions, this can include scores, best scores, streaks, an anonymous player or profile name, unfinished or completed puzzle and campaign progress, and audio preferences such as music, sound effects and volume.
This data stays in browser storage on your device. It is not transmitted to a MyWordHub server and is not used by MyWordHub to identify or target you. Clearing cookies, browser storage or site data for mywordhub.com removes it and may reset your scores, streaks, puzzle progress and preferences.
Local game storage is separate from advertising, analytics and consent choices.
6. Information collected automatically
When you visit MyWordHub, our service providers may collect standard technical and usage information. Depending on your consent choices and the service involved, this can include page views, pages visited, device and browser type, approximate country or region, the referring page, interaction with advertisements, and hosting or security logs. This information helps deliver and protect the site, measure advertising, understand performance and diagnose errors or abuse.
7. Advertising
MyWordHub uses Google AdSense and Google advertising services. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies and may process approximate location, device and browser information, page views and advertisement interactions to deliver, limit and measure ads. Advertising helps keep MyWordHub free.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, consent choices are presented where required before personalised advertising or non-essential analytics cookies are used. You can manage personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings. Google explains how it uses information from partner sites in its partner-sites policy.
8. Analytics
MyWordHub uses Google Analytics 4 where analytics consent is available. We use aggregate reporting to understand which tools and games are popular, monitor site performance and errors, and improve navigation and content. MyWordHub does not use analytics to identify individual visitors. Google provides an analytics opt-out browser add-on.
9. Cookies and consent choices
Necessary cookies or browser storage may be used for site operation, security and choices you make. Analytics and advertising cookies depend on consent where required. You can block or remove cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may reset game progress or preferences.
Where a consent or privacy control is available on the site, you can use it to review or change the choices managed by the consent platform. Your browser and Google advertising settings provide additional controls.
10. Contact messages and emails
If you contact MyWordHub, we use your message, email address and any information you choose to include to reply and handle your request. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.
11. Who else is involved
MyWordHub relies on a small number of providers to operate the site:

12. Legal disclosures and business transfers
MyWordHub may disclose relevant information when required by law, to protect the site or its visitors, or to investigate fraud, abuse or security issues. If the business or its assets are sold, reorganised or transferred, relevant information may form part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
13. Children
MyWordHub is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age where they live. We do not knowingly ask children for personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the contact route, please contact us.
14. Your rights
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. MyWordHub relies on consent for non-essential analytics and advertising storage where required, and on legitimate interests to operate and secure a free website.
You can contact MyWordHub to exercise your rights. UK visitors may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. EEA visitors may contact the supervisory authority in their country.
15. California and other US state privacy rights
Some US state privacy laws may treat advertising cookies used for cross-context behavioural advertising as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. MyWordHub does not sell personal information for money. Where available, you can use advertising or consent controls, or contact MyWordHub with a privacy request. You will not be treated differently for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Because MyWordHub has no account system and may hold no identifying record about you, we may be unable to link or verify some requests without collecting more information than we already have. We will explain this if it applies to your request.
16. Where information is processed
MyWordHub is accessible internationally. Google, Cloudflare and contact-service providers may process information in countries outside your own. Those providers are responsible for using appropriate safeguards where international-transfer rules apply.

18. Security
MyWordHub uses HTTPS and reduces risk by not offering accounts, storing passwords or processing payments. We take reasonable steps to protect the website and contact messages and rely on service providers for secure hosting and delivery. No internet service or security measure can guarantee perfect security.

We may update this policy when the site, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top will show when the policy was last updated.
