Find your highest-scoring Scrabble play
A Scrabble Word Finder turns the seven tiles on your rack into a ranked list of every matching dictionary word, sorted so the biggest scorers sit at the top. Enter your letters, and each result shows its point value using the standard Scrabble letter scores — so instead of squinting at your rack, you can see at a glance whether you are holding a 20-point play or a modest filler.
How to use the Scrabble finder
Type the letters on your rack, using ? for a blank tile. Results are ordered by score, highest first. To fit a word onto the board, open Filters: set Starts with or Ends with to hook onto a letter already in play, Must include to use a specific board tile, or Length to match the space you have. The word list updates as you type.
Scoring strategy
- Play your heavy tiles. Q, Z, J and X are worth 10, 10, 8 and 8 points — the finder pushes words using them to the top.
- Learn the short bombs. Two-letter words like qi, za, xu and ax are how experts dump high-value tiles onto premium squares.
- Aim for the bingo. Using all seven tiles in one turn earns a 50-point bonus; filter by Length 7 to hunt for it.
- Remember the board. The finder shows tile values, not the double- and triple-letter/word squares — layer those in yourself for the real total.

These are base tile and rack-bonus values. Premium board squares, connected words and each game’s accepted-word list can change the final playable score. A blank represents a letter but contributes zero tile points.

Which word source is used?
A broad open word list, with familiar results shown first and extended matches available separately. It is not an official NWL, Collins or tournament lexicon, so check a candidate against the dictionary used by your game when playing competitively.
Are the point values official?
Yes — they use the standard Scrabble letter values, before any board multipliers.
Is this different from the unscrambler?
Same engine, but results are ranked by Scrabble score rather than length, so your most valuable plays come first.
